Swamini Saralananda is one of Swami Dayananda’s senior most disciples. She attended the first long-term course conducted by Pujya Swamiji in Bombay from 1972 to 1975. Following that course she taught for a number of years in her native place, Hawaii. Later, between 1979 and 1982, she was on the teaching staff when Pujya Swamiji taught the same course in California. She has been teaching in various parts of the country and has also spent a total of eleven years in India. Prior to receiving sanyasa from Pujya Swamiji she had a private counseling practice in Oregon. Besides being a well seasoned Vedanta teacher she is well versed in cross-cultural issues. She has taught in Arsha VIdya Gurukulam, Saylorsburg, USA, in Canada and Europe.
Swamini ji attained Mahasamadhi on 9th March 2021 at Hawaii.
